About Us

De Monchy & Röben Tax Advice is an independent and experienced full service office. We draw up annual accounts and tax declarations, and provide to-the-point advice on tax and corporate law. An important principle of our advice services is our well thought-out advice, that isn't more complicated than necessary.

We are actively involved in your case, and our advice is therefore at all times personalized and dedicated. Our clients are starting or seasoned (inter-)national companies, investment funds and private investors.

Our approach

Our team’s hand-on approach ensures everyone is involved with a project in their own
specific competence. We also cooperate with other offices, engaged by you or by us, for
matters in which we are not specialised, but are still necessary for providing a complete
and clear overview of the case. This includes, for example, family and inheritance law,
labour law, and of course the notary.

Our rates are straightforward, and we carefully specify the time spent. Wherever
possible, we set a fixed fee. In general this is possible when it concerns the annual
compliance duties.

Administrations can be provided to us online and offline. Based on the service level
agreement you will have an insight into the financials of your company. The VAT and

payroll tax returns and payment orders will be submitted on time and issued
respectively. At the end of the fiscal year, the annual accounts and (corporate) income
tax return will be drawn up.

A client portal is available for all our clients, where you can safely log in (through this
website or mobile app) into your personal and secured online environment. In this
portal, we share your tax returns, agreements, annual accounts, etc. with you. You can
view these documents and approve them (possibly with a digital secured signature).
The portal also functions as your online archive.

mr. Theodoor H.B. de Monchy

Partner and tax specialist

Theodoor studied tax law at the University of Amsterdam. During his studies, he worked at the European Option Exchange at the Cross Options trading firm. After graduation, he worked as tax advisor at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Amsterdam. He founded De Monchy Tax Advice in 2003 to meet the increasing demand for a knowledgeable financial and tax service provider with a low threshold.

Peggy M. Strijk


Since 2011, Peggy has been employed at our office as administrative officer and secretary. Previously, she greatly enjoyed her long-time job as management assistant at PWC. She now takes care of the bookkeeping of our clients after her re-education. Peggy is our longest serving employee, yet still loves to learn new skills, and is always ready to address people with a friendly smile.

Partner and tax specialist

Elsbeth studied Dutch law at the University of Utrecht, and tax law at the University of Amsterdam. After graduation, she worked as a tax advisor and lawyer at Baker&McKenzie in Amsterdam until 2006. In 2006 she entered into a partnership with Theodoor.
